WHICH DEVICE BEST SUITS YOUR VAPING STYLE?
If you’re new to vaping selecting the right device and e-liquid can be a bit overwhelming – especially if you’re switching to vaping to quit smoking. So, let’s break it all down.
What is an e-liquid?
An e-liquid solution generally has four key components; Nicotine, Propylene Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerine (VG) and food grade flavourings (which contain different compounds depending on the flavour). This is the liquid you use to fill up the chamber of your vaping device.
The solution vapourizes when heated and translates flavour, as well as throat and Nicotine hit when inhaled, to simulate smoking.4
Propylene Glycol (PG):
PG helps to produce what is referred to as the ‘throat hit’ in combination with Nicotine and flavours. It is this ingredient that helps to create the sensation of smoking.
Vegetable Glycerine (VG):
VG is included to help produce more dense clouds of vapour and adds a complimentary sweetness and smoothness to the e-liquid.
What difference does the mix make to my vaping experience?
- A higher PG content will produce a sensation close to that of smoking.
- Higher VG will allow you to exhale large clouds of vapour, with a reduced ‘throat hit.’
All Ibiza Club E-Liquids are a 50:50 mix of PG and VG. This means you can use our E-Liquids in any device. We were one of the first UK manufacturers to make this mix our standard. It is often referred to as a ‘Universal E-Liquid.’
An E-liquid is what you put into the chamber of your vaping device. The liquid is heated up to
produce the flavoured clouds of smoke. We’ve got them in a whole range of flavours: from
Menthol to Juicy Blueberry. You’ll also notice that our Ibiza Vape Club E-Liquids all come in
different ‘strengths’ – this means the level of nicotine to ml.
Which strength E-Liquid is right for you?
We’d recommend that you start with a lower Nicotine mixture and work up until you find the right fit/hit. If you are using our Deluxe Sub Ohm we recommend you use an E-Liquid with 6mg/ml or less.
All vaping devices have certain elements in common. They all have a vape tank that holds the
heating coil and vape juice. We carry three types of devices, an E-Cigarette, a Refillable Pod Vape and our Deluxe Sub ohm.
The Sub Ohm is better suited to more experienced vapours and we don’t recommend using a Sub Ohm if you have decided to switch to vaping as a way to quit smoking. Probably the most well-known device, the E-Cigarette, has been in circulation for many years now. The Ibiza Club E-Cigarette is super sleek, long, round and thin. Most people use an E-Cigarette when they start vaping as it feels familiar to smokers.
The pods are a more recent addition to the vaping world and look like a long USB memory stick. The Refillable Pod is a popular device thanks to its sleek, slim design. The Pod is also a great place to start if you’re new to Vaping.
If you’re new to using a Sub Ohm device you’ll notice that it feels very different to smoking cigarettes. The inhalation method most commonly used with Sub Ohms, is ‘direct to lung’, and is more like smoking on a shisha. These devices create a lot more vapour and a denser vapour cloud, meaning you can taste more flavour.

To summarise, if you’re a smoker and looking to transition to vaping, the classic e-cigarette or Refillable Pod Vape will satisfy that nicotine craving and you will find them easier to handle at the outset.
